Iwata ATAWI CS Airbrush
Precision. Control. Expression.
The Iwata ATAWI CS is a special release built on the proven Eclipse CS platform and refined for greater precision, smoother control, and more responsive paint delivery.
At its core is the new E2 0.2 mm Universal Detail Head System, developed specifically for the ATAWI CS. It delivers finer, more controlled material delivery than the standard Eclipse CS while maintaining a broader and more versatile spray pattern than Iwata’s dedicated HP-series detail airbrushes.
The result is a unique balance of detail capability, usable pattern range, and everyday Eclipse reliability.
E2 0.2 mm Universal Detail Head System
The E2 system introduces a dedicated 0.2 mm fluid setup while retaining Iwata’s proven compression-fit, drop-in nozzle design.
This provides the precision of a smaller fluid system without sacrificing the durability, easy cleaning, and straightforward maintenance that make the Eclipse platform so dependable.
Micro-Response Main Lever
The ATAWI CS features Iwata’s newer Micro-Response Main Lever, replacing the traditional Eclipse CS trigger design with a wider, more ergonomic finger surface.
Its broad, smooth profile allows the finger to rest more naturally across the lever and roll through the trigger movement with less concentrated fingertip pressure.
Benefits include:
· Smoother trigger movement
· More precise paint control
· Better response during fades and detail work
· Reduced finger fatigue during longer spray sessions
Refined Spray Performance
The ATAWI CS fills the performance gap between the standard Eclipse CS and Iwata’s dedicated HP-series detail airbrushes.
It provides finer material delivery and greater detail capability than the standard Eclipse CS, while maintaining a wider usable spray pattern than a traditional HP-series detail airbrush.
Compression-Fit Nozzle
The ATAWI CS retains Iwata’s proven compression-fit nozzle system, providing reliable alignment, durability, and easy maintenance.
The drop-in design makes routine cleaning and servicing easier than traditional fine-detail airbrushes that rely on very small threaded nozzles.
Quick Flush Cutaway Preset Handle
The Quick Flush Cutaway Preset Handle provides direct access to the needle chucking mechanism for fast flushing and cleaning.
The adjustable preset control also allows the artist to limit needle travel for more consistent and repeatable paint output.
Integrated Crown Cap Dock
The removable crown cap can be stored directly on the rear of the handle when not in use, keeping it protected and easily accessible.
Detail Crown Cap
The included crown cap protects the needle while maintaining visibility around the tip for close, controlled detail work.
PTFE Needle Packing
Solvent-resistant PTFE needle packing supports use with both water-based and solvent-based coating systems.
Proven Eclipse Platform
The ATAWI CS retains the familiar characteristics of the Eclipse CS platform:
· Gravity feed
· 7 ml / 0.24 oz fluid cup
· Dual-action control
· Compression-fit nozzle architecture
· Easy cleaning and maintenance
· Durable construction for regular professional use
Recommended Working Pressure
20–30 PSI
Actual pressure may vary depending on material viscosity, reduction, spray pattern, and application technique.
Special Iwata Release
The ATAWI CS is a special Iwata release with Coast Airbrush as the exclusive release partner.
